Cyric - The Mad God of Lies

Cyric is a petty, self-centered, God who enjoys manipulating individuals into ruining or ending their own lives. The greater god of conflict and murder, as well as lies, and illusion. Cyric's clerics, who often trained as rogues or assassins, prayed for spells at night, after moonrise.
Many outside the churches viewed them as twisted dens of madness, trickery, and death. But its clergy condemned this outlook, preferring to see their religion as enlightened. It supposedly revealed that all societal bonds of friendship, family, and love were nothing but weak ties that always withered away, and therefore were useless, weak, and pitiful.
Cyric has many enemies in the Pantheon, Especially that of Mask, Oghma, Mystra as well as others, but it's particularly contentious with Mask. Cyric craves constantly to increase his power and portfolio and Views Masks as one that is clearly one he covets.
