Bahamut - The Platinum Dragon

Bahamut carries many portfolios, the same as other gods, he however has always deferred to those other gods as being the primary caretakers of the portfolios. Not at all one to seek power, he has only sought to take care of those who pray to for those portfolios, but in his name. 
There was a time when Dragons and those with draconic blood were driven temporarily insane for a time of 15 days during a cosmic event.  The Elves of Vol cast a powerful spell to combat this effect, which leg to essentially a march against dragon kind...somewhat of an almost Genocide while this spell was in effect, which encompassed pretty much all of Vengrath. the spell lasted for centuries, but eventually it came to an end, but the effects were long felt by those of draconic heritage. which they understood the reasoning, there is a long held grudge by those of draconic kind for those of elven lineage. 
After the spell came to an end Bahamut took an interest that this never happen again, not the spell per se, but the effect that the cosmic event caused leading to this spell having to be created. He also focused on Tiamat, and limiting her influence over the dragon species. 
Those who worship Bahamut strive to emulate him: The Generosity, being of a humble mind, and always taking council before judging another. Work to protect the weak, and strive to be in understanding of others.
