Anhur - The God of War

Informal organizations were common among the followers of Anhur, especially with those that served in the nation's military.
Temples to Anhur were solidly built structures design to repel invaders. They were continuously stocked with equipment and provisions in the event that they were besieged.
Martial skills were an important factor in the lives of the clergy and followers of the Church of Anhur. Clerics spent much of their time preparing for battle, as well as training the Soldiers of The Righteous Scimitar.(Worskshop the name) They focused on executing daring maneuvers and plans in the hopes of increasing the glory of their nation. Divine spell casters devoted to Anhur prayed for their spells at dawn. 
Anhur typically appeared as whichever race he was appearing to; however with having four arms, red skin, and dark eyes. His hair appeared dark, and he usually had a short beard that was often braided. Generally gets along with most of the good and or neutral deities, but disagrees with Sarenrae's philosophy. They are on good terms, but he does not view all beings as redeemable. 
His one rival is Hoar, they are close ideologically, it's just that Anhur grabbed the War Portfolio from a long forgotten deity after Hoar had slain him WITH the expressed purposes to possess the War portfolio...d Hoar has never forgiven Anhur for this.
