Talon was formerly associated with Esek, the mentor of Vesta, but hasn't seen him for many years.
Talon approached Vesta during her stay at The Curious Imp. He had received a contract to steal a ring from the Grand Duke's Palace and presented the opportunity to Vesta. In return for stealing and replacing the ring with a fake, he would pay Vesta 100gp.
