The party receive a request from Ricardo the Fantastic, a bard who has fallen for the swordstress, asking that they obtain any information they can about Francesca, he intends to write a ballad that will seduce her.
Zeph and Dank attempted to break into her room at The Orchard, but instead, their attempts led her on a wild goose chase in search of a bandit attack that Zeph concocted.
Whilst heading towards the marketplace, Francesca encountered Vesta. Vesta attempted to hire Francesca to rough up the bard, Ricardo, whom, after his constant confessions of love, she had no qualms about bringing harm to. Vesta asked that they meet at The Kingfisher the following evening.
Francesca arrived at the inn and found the party speaking with the bard, Ricardo. She explained to the party that she was not interested in the bard and was in love with another (but wouldn't specify who). She had a few drinks with the party, followed by a private conversation with Zeph. She said her goodbyes and left the inn.
The following morning whilst leaving the town, Francesca spotted a group of farmers heading away from the town, armed with clubs. She followed in secret and hid until the party walked into the ambush the party had prepared. Francesca killed one of the farmers.
After the fight had ended, Francesca said her farewells, stating she hoped to see the party again and headed off north to her next contact.
