The Defenders of Wuulfrend met Lord August following their success in dealing with Carver's Bastards. The group managed to intimidate August into providing each a five gold reward for their assistance. Thurdon also revealed his knowledge of the Lord's unsavoury habits.
Lord August tasked the group with uncovering information about the bandits who kidnapped his citizens and finding where they had been taken (with a reward of 40 gold for information plus an additional 20 gold for their safe return).
