Zeph was introduced to the General at the ball held at the palace in Draguilforte. 
He and Countess Elena Marino were visiting the city as political ambassadors to ensure the future cooperation between Gothian and Aldrestia. 
Maximilian was glad to meet the young sorcerer and heir to the Archmage, he was glad to learn that Zeph was gaining experience in the world, believing this to be more worthwhile than spending his days in lectures. He stated his hope to see the sorcerer again in the future.
