Definition of Life

Life emerges when a connection happens between the physical realm and the 4th plane. Life created this way will innately be a perfect connection between the 4th plane and the physical realm. As such, there is a limitless transfer of energy between the planes, and the lifeform will have unmatched power in both.
Such an unmatched lifeform is referred to as a God or a divine entity.
The Disruptor creates exceptions to this law, as it prevents this connection from being perfect. Due to this, life on Earth has a nearly completely severed link and has very little effect in transferring energy. Additionally, both parts of the connection have their own separate sentience.
