not much is known of this time.
Before the event of Dogmonic
Not much is known about max before the events of Dogmonic other than the
Dream Imps visited Stella to feed off of her and in-process gave Max cancer that turns terminal sometime before the start of the game.
Dogmonic
Max is possed by Albaster right at the start of the game but is still around affect some of Albaster actions as he takes control of Max's body at least at first. Whether he still exists in the body is currently unknown.
