Fey
A biosphere that originally came from the Fey lands. Currently are refugees on Terra
These ethereal beings’ history is as enchanting as their nature and their home, which is as diverse as that of Terra if not more. Their home the Fey lands was not destined to last as a cataclysm would spell doom when large chunks suddenly disappear causing it as a whole to start destabilizing. The fey lands’ end would come around the same time as the bronze age collapse in Terra’s timeline.
fleeing in every direction they could, many of them found themselves in Terra where upon their arrival they would become known as the people of the sea. over time they would spread across the globe settling into the different locations that would become the bases for many myths and legends unto themselves if not becoming adsorbed into already establish local mythology, their reputation ranging from sinister to benevolent. European folklore and legends were particularly inspired by The Fey, weaving intricate tales that still captivate imaginations today. Despite their growing presence, relations between the Fey and mortals remained fraught, often sparking conflicts and power struggles.
But like with other supernatural beings that already existed on Terra they started to feel the pressure of the ever growing Masquerade
This would force the current groups to form the coalition that would be known as the Tuatha Dé Danann who would go on to play apart with the pendragon line as it came into power. This would finally pay off when King Arthur came into power forming Camelot marking a turning point for all supernatural beings including Fey.
Under the rule of King Arthur, all supernatural beings found a degree of peace and acceptance within his realm as it expanded. However, the fall of Camelot brought turmoil, leading to a civil war that pitted Fey against Fey, as well as against mortals. This war had devastating consequences.
The aftermath of this war left many Fey species on the brink of extinction, and their population faced a birthing crisis due to a lack of genetic diversity. As of 2009, the Fey continue to confront these challenges, striving to preserve their diminishing species and maintain a delicate peace with the Mortal world. The Fey's rich and intertwined history with humanity serves as a poignant reminder of the complexities arising from the coexistence of two vastly different cultures, and the delicate balance required to maintain harmony between the supernatural and mortal realms.
