The Meat Grinder

In the underbelly of Vega, there exists a notorious BMX fight ring known as the Meat Grinder. Located in the Haddri Sector, the Meat Grinder is a grimy and brutal arena where thrill-seeking spectators come to witness death-defying stunts and violent clashes between BMX riders.   The Meat Grinder is a sprawling maze of makeshift ramps, pipes, and obstacles, with elevated viewing platforms and a central pit where the fights take place. The walls are adorned with graffiti and the air is thick with the smell of sweat, gasoline, and rust.   The fights themselves are intense and often deadly, with riders performing daring stunts and using their bikes as weapons.    The riders who compete in the Meat Grinder are a diverse and motley crew, ranging from brutal veterans to fresh-faced newcomers looking to make a name for themselves. Some riders specialize in speed and agility, while others favor raw power and brute force. But all of them share a reckless disregard for their own safety and a hunger for adrenaline-fueled thrills.   The Meat Grinder is run by a figure known as "the Promoter." The Promoter is a colorful figure who rarely appears in public, and is rumored to be a wealthy and powerful individual with connections to the criminal underworld. The Promoter is said to control the flow of drugs and weapons into the Meat Grinder, and to use the fights as a way to settle disputes and eliminate rivals.   Despite the danger and illegality of the Meat Grinder, it remains a popular attraction among the city's adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers. Its reputation as a place where anything can happen and anyone can be a winner or a victim only adds to its allure.
The rules of the Meat Grinder are simple: anything goes, and the last rider standing wins. There are no rounds or referees, and the fights continue until only one rider remains.
The audience can gamble on riders by talking to an autognome named clonk located in a large booth by the entrance. Gamblers beware, as insider trading and sabotage are common occurances.
