Aspetheurgy

Aspetheurgy is the art of manipulating the inherent chaos of matter and directing it in a way that is useful to the caster. This is accomplished by writing sets of magical symbols called Formula with a magical material called Flux. When the proper formula is written down with Flux and Invoked it causes some object to change in some way.   The "change" is actually the movement of magical meta-physical objects called Aspects. When something about an object increases, such as increasing temperature or weight, it said to be giving an object aspects. When something about an object decreases, such as lowering velocity or its coefficient of friction, it is said to be taking aspects. Aspects are never created or destroyed, when giving an object weight you must take weight from something else, and when taking heat from an object that heat must be given to something else.   This giving and taking does not necessarily need to be at the same time. Aspects can be temporarily stored inside of Flux, but the Aspects will eventually leak out into surrounding objects, often wasting magical energy to do so.   Flux contains magical energy inside of it, which is used when moving Aspects around, once the energy is used up the Flux goes Null and turns from a deep purple color to a dull grey.   The body of sapient creatures contain trace amount of Flux, allowing one to use living matter such as blood, saliva, living cells, etc. for casting spells. Blood is the most common biological material used for this purpose. One can even take Aspects into their own body, and since the Formulas are metaphysical concepts, simply holding one inside one's head serves for casting it. When one performs Aspetheurgy entirely inside their own body via this method it is referred to as Hematic Aspetheurgy.
