The Lost is an ancient people given a second try at life. Though many consider this a curse more than a blessing. They have risen from the ashes of who they were and reforged themselves into something new.

The Lost are known by their pale blue almost white eyes and slightly translucent appearance. That is their only common trait.

The Social Hierarchy is determined by skill and example, for The Lost things like seniority and charisma don't matter much. They much rather focus on who is qualified and capable in the fields they are pursuing. That said their social structure itself is rather loose as they spend most of their time in pursuit of either a comfortable and peaceful life or that which binds them to the mortal plane.

The Lost tend to favor compassion and ambition over physical appearance, though most don't actually care much for such things. This is probably due to the fact that they see themselves as the undead.

Most Lost don't entertain the idea of courtship or romance. Whether they remember their previous lives or not it seems to be a common thought that it isn't worth the pain to get involved with others in that nature.

The culture of The Lost can be summed up rather neatly as live and let live. They have built a culture around the idea of focusing on oneself and the life they want to lead rather than worrying about others overly. This does lead to a large degree of isolation but that is an acceptable consequence to them.

The Lost generally have good relations with the other races of the Empire as they often are hired as bodyguards, mercenaries, freelance labor, ect.
