Most avoid the ocean during this time. When both moons are new the seas will recede and return with great fury. The low tide will expose Walkdron and the like to the air. These creatures may then roam the land bringing destruction in their wake.

The foolish might be tempted to pursue the exposed tide pools. The promise of finding rare and valuable catches can lead the ambitious to unfortunate ends. In the dark this is especially hazardous as whoever is combing the ocean bed might not notice an approaching enemy or even tide returning until it's too late.
