Venerate

The venerate, (AKA veynar, founder, or conditorial class) are the aristocratic upper echelon of the Aeoran class structure known as the Pentas Digitorum. Traditionally the veynar are the founders of the polis, whose name is inscribed on the Lapis Conditori, whose duty it is to lead armies, hold magistracies, and pronounce and enforce political law. 
Each polis is presided over by a political council known as the Comita Conditorio. Only veynar born are allowed to hold seat in the Comita Conditorio. Members of this political body are known as conditors.
