The City Guards

A powerful organization within the city. They work endlessly to keep the city and its people safe from dangers outside and within.

Training to be a guardsman requires many years of training and apprenticeship to a older guardsman. Their adherence to quality and care have meant the population of the city of Neverwinter holds all full guardsman as a friend and people, except those with issues with the law, often volunteer assistance when possible.

There have been instances of guards betraying the people or the guards them self. The few times it has been found out have lead to some of the most ruthless actions of the guards to hunt the traitors down.

Three decades ago the organization was given a position on Counsel of Eleven as a reward for the constant service to the city.
