Queen Ismaire of Colova is an almost larger-than-life figure. Said to have been born from the sands of the Colovan Desert itself, she is credited with bringing the Kingdom of Colova into an age of prosperity after ages of obscurity. Ismaire funded the voyage of The Pájaro, leading to the discovery of the Vandrian Archipelago, and the existence of the New World. Ismaire and Silvia Cardenal share a "close personal friendship", which puts many of the old guard at unease.
Ismaire's rapid expansion into the Vandrian Archipelago has been quite profitable for Colova.
Opponents criticize her abandoning the old ways, but supporters claim the old ways kept them in the darkness.
