Shayan
Shayan used to be a soldier. Once, long ago. Then he became a ghoul to a rather cruel Immigrant Mekhet. When his origins and the reason he had been ghouled was revealed during the Mekhet's enraged tirade against Cyrus during an Elysium in 2009, Hiram offered him a chance as a Vampire in 2010. The headhunters took him away and ever-so-slowly weaned him off of the ancient Mekhet's blood and broke the vinculum bond. When Shayan chose Cyrus over the elder Mekhet in 2010, it was only the threat of Final Death that kept everyone in line.
Now Shayan is learning to be a warrior of the night, and fight the spectral hosts that all vampires fear: the Strix.
