Qiao (Chee-ow)
Embraced just a year before the Galloi Incident sent the Haunts into a tailspin, Qiao has seen how one miscalculated decision can affect the face of a family. Over the last half-century she has gradually gone from a sweet girl to a calculating manipulator with a "sweet-little-sister" demeanor. She and Susu act similarly sometimes, but in Qiao's case it is just an act. Now that she is no longer a fledgling, she is feeling the pressure to build her own family. She already, during her fledgling years as part of Mae's training, bore multiple dhampyr. The children have grown up and gained their own families, and somehow, Qiao is supposed to chose just one to be her childer...but is she that calculating?
