Magnus
Magnus was a Swedish merchant that had the misfortune of being fed on and left for dead by a Vampire. He bled out in the snowy streets in 1904. He rose as a Revenant the next night and slaughtered dozens over many nights before he was confronted and driven out, never even knowing what he was. He fled across Northern Europe and south into Scotland, eventually making it to Ireland. There he met a sympathetic vampire named Bridget. She helped find the legend of the Mikhaili in old stories of her Clan.
Magnus left Ireland knowing none of the scorn he might have had he revealed himself. He made his way back to Russia, and into the wilds of Siberia. Eventually in the woods and wilds he found The Mikhaili who uplifted him through their pagan blood rites. Years later, he made an impassioned speech on hearing that Bridget's Clan had gone to war. In repayment for the kindness shown one of their own, Viktor joined Magnus in the journey to Chicagoland, leaving behind the dissenters knowing they could gift the bloodthirst to fresh recruits.
