Erin isn't very asian looking, and she knows that Grandsire Mae has a problem with it. When Mae railed at Gang in the middle of a family meeting after Erin's Embrace, Erin very softly spoke. What she said is still talked about by the family.

"Grandsire Mae, Is it true that in the myths Jiang-shi have incredibly long tongues? Yes, well. You know what that means? It means that if you think I am not good enough to be in this clan, you can eat my ass. And I'll probably enjoy it. If you don't want to, then stop spewing filth and venom and let's get to work.
