Assamites

The Assamites are masters of assassinations who operate as killers for hire. Their Clan is governed by the three principles of wisdom, sorcery, and diablerie. The Clan's founder is the Kindred Haqim.
In 636 CE, the Baali inflicted the Assamites with a powerful curse, causing the Assamite warriors who were attacking the Baali city of Chorazin to have a terrible need for Cainite blood. Within the following century, most of the warriors and a sizeable percentage of the other castes also suffered this curse.

Assamite Sorcerers

Otherwise known as Magi, Assamite sorcerers began in the Second City, conscripted or lured into the Clan with the promise of immortality in which to perfect their magic. They were tasked with providing magical support.

Otherwise known as Scholars or Artisans, the Assamite viziers have acted as leaders within the Clan in regards to understanding and relating to mortals. Unfortunately, while they can learn, understand, and interpret mortal customs and mores, they have difficulty actually relating to them.
