In the scheme of his species, Nehem is old enough to have grown cunning, but young enough to remain ambitious in proving that cunning. Nehem was born into a slave caste within an empire that has long since fallen. Nehem still serves her interests, running one of her 'businesses' while she travels and attends to other matters. Installed in a city with a healthy shipping industry, Nehem organizes the web of smugglers, counterfeiters, and thieves that move choice goods to and fro.
