Kosamai's Letter

The Beginning

In the city of Sapphirus, there is a mysterious person called Kosamai. This person has been known to lead people to all sorts of forgotten and ancient places throughout the city.
At first, no one in the city actually believed that Kosamai actually existed, but once a young student named Alex Thomson found an ancient library through their notes, that belief started to change.
It wasn’t long before more and more people found clues, and more and more locations started to be found.

The Letter

When the city still didn't believe in Kosamai, the largest school in Sapphirus got a mysterious letter addressed to the children of the school, challenging them to follow the clues that Kosamai had left behind.
Most thought it would just lead to a trap, or some kind of elaborate prank, but one kid decided to follow the directions. And that would be Alex Thomson.
Alex followed the clues in the letter, and found a run down library, filled to the brim with scrolls that looked to be a couple centuries old. This was basically the find of a lifetime.

After the find

When Alex got interviewed, Alex off handedly mentioned the letter the school obtained.
This then sent the people demanding to see this “letter” to make sure it was real.
Although the school decided to try to keep this letter a secret, they were very ineffective, and the letter’s contents soon found their way to the public's view.
And the content of the letter goes as such:
Follow the river around the bend, then find the wall with three heads.
Tickle the stones in dragons mouths, and then follow the passageway all the way down.
Then press the switches, left to right, and then you will find the secret hidden in the night.
Enjoy this search as I know you will, so says the one and only fox prince, Kosamai gives their word.
This letter also included a map that was not the easiest thing to actually follow, for the clues and the map are fairly vague. Not to mention that it almost seemed that Kosamai almost didn't want people to find the library.
After the letter, this then sent a city wide craze for trying to find even just one of Kosamai’s clues, and to try to find more of the secret areas around the city.
So as there may be people who still don't believe in the city’s mysterious figure, and they may still think that searching for these clues is a waste of time, that doesn't stop the kids in the city from trying to find these clues and be the next one to find the next big thing.

A little interview with Alex
When interviewed about the letter, and how hard it was to find the clues, Alex had this to say:
“When the letter was first announced to the school, I knew that I wanted to be the one to find it.
But it is not like I had any competition in finding it. Most of the kids in the school either thought the letter was fake, or they thought it was an elaborate prank to try to get some kids in trouble.
I had this gut feeling that it might have been real, so I tried it.
When I tried to follow the instructions though, it was a lot harder than I originally thought it would be.
The riddles were extremely vague, and the map wasn't much help either, and it took me almost two weeks to try to figure it out. Whoever Kosamai is, they are an expert riddle maker, but they are terrible at making maps.”

Ooh, I love a good riddle maker! The idea of a bunch of kids stampeding around the city looking for secret areas is pretty fun, too XD
