Kamanitore
Lady Knight Premier Kamanitore Anani (a.k.a. the Strong)
There are few women in the trade of the knight, warrior, or adventurer. Kamanitore has been the latter two, and is currently one of the most popular knights of the Order of Audurn, a prestigious order of knights headquartered in Southeastern Seinis. Hailing from the hilly country of Jumhutoam, which lays in the Jizdan Hills, which are located in the southern regions south of the Mendesian River, which flows through the Kingdom of Alk'kir, Kamanitore was born to poor life. But she was blessed with great strength, stature, and will. She ran away from her village and went to the city of Al-Zaphrine, about 60 miles north, to set out a better life for herself. After she defended a foreign knight from a vengeful mob, her strength was recognized and she was taken by the knight as a guide for the city. Because of her services to him, she was taken from the streets and joined his retinue as he traveled around Alk'kir. As she demonstrated a quick wit and mighty strength rivaling even fully grown men, Jacfroi even brought her back home to his country: Aemiride. She was seventeen.
In this fair country of thought and wine Kamanitore began to make a name for herself. Her womanhood seemed an insurmountable obstacle to her rising through the ranks of knighthood. But her incredible strength soon proved sufficient. Wielding the massive curved magical blade of Kholpeh, a blade nearly as long as Kamanitore is tall, she was able to cleave fully armored men in half. But while she trained under Jacfroi a tragedy struck, and the mentor knight was killed in a hunting accident. His plate armor had been cleaved and gored by a rampaging boar, and he died instantly.
Kamanitore left Aemiride. She headed to Lower Huraedon and sought greater fame and fortune in the wars there. She became a mercenary and was soon highly sought for by companies throughout Chedoni. Eventually she was taken in by the adventurer's group The Great Company of Huraedonites. She made her name and fortune, there, and eventually left the adventurer's group to join the Order of Audurn, back in Aemiride.
Due to her strange strength and the mystique of a dark-skinned woman acting with authority in a prestigious order of knights, Kamanitore soon became very popular among both the nobility and common folk. She has since settled, though not wed, and has become fast friends with Laurentin de Cloche, another woman knight of the Order of Audurn. She is growing older, and her fighting days are fast passing by her.
