Rem came into the world born from an Efreet, Khaleen, and her human mother, Aveline. Raised mainly by her mother here in Iver, she learned to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves and to always lend a helping hand. She works her days away at the Hearthward Metalworks family forge, supplying armor and weapons for Kojira's Spear and Ember Shield. She began to learn artifice from a family friend and business partner, Fostran, when the family was having hard time selling their traditional goods. He taught her how to harness the arcane when creating tools and provided some old blueprints that he no longer has use for. She used her new mastery to create an animated steel horse that she uses to transport her goods around the city.
