Viniq was the dragon king after Otarrak. He took contol of Galag Rok following a bloody civil war for power that lasted six years. Shortly after he began creating laws to ensure that the dragon lords wouldn't need to go to war again for the title of dragon king. These became known as the Laws of Viniq King. His dragon was named Palnoqorron. He ruled for 300 years. He was succeeded by his son Balkorrus the Black. Viniq is frequently known as The Lawgiver due to his creation of the code. He was born early into the rule of the first dragon king. Neither of his parents were dragon lords because the practice wasn't yet common or solidified. He was born in northern Akea near the Windsong Mountains and encountered his dragon when she was a hatchling having fallen from her nest. He took her in and raised her, and the two bonded. At that time, dragon lords tended to be created acccidentally. In his personal life, he's also really into wine.
