The Three Fanged Serpent is one of the common representations of Fate. It is depicted as a snake wrapped around a bowl on a pedestal, and the three fangs drip poison into the bowl revealing the Fate of people. Each fang drips venom with different outcomes. The first fang is a reminder of the past. The second is an observation of the present, and the third and longest fang is a prediction of the future. There are various people who try to sell elixirs which are made from the venom of the serpent to give people the ability to see into their future. However, actually encountering Fate is very rare, and these elixirs often times are just hallucinogenics.
