Among the goblins and hobgoblins, the worst fate that can befall anyone is to be Forgotten. While the term is usually applied to those who die and whose names are forgotten, there is also a small group of exiled goblins who banded together and live on the fringes of society. They live on the southern shores of Kos and many turn to piracy and crime to survive. The Forgotten are unable to interact with other goblins nor do they want to after being exiled from their homes. They are all tattooed as a visible sign of being Forgotten. Their children are believed to inherit the sins of their parents, but some manage to make a life in more mixed settlements.
