Star touched scales are unique items that can be used to create powerful sleeping draughts and grant the drinker extreme clarity. They are shed by the goddess Khemina in the Dreamplane and glitter with the light of a thousand stars. Some people keep them intact as a reminder of her blessing and favor. Khemina gifts the scales to those she favors, and even the most devout will only receive one in a lifetime. Each scale is a perfectly round disk that's smooth to the touch and glitters even in total darkness. For the potions and elixirs that use the scales as an ingredient, one scale is only enough to produce a single use of the potion.
