Kantjeka is one of the guardians created by Valtena. She is described as being as large as a hill when she lies down to sleep at night. She wanders the plains in the southeastern part of Kos. The centaurs, orcs, and goblins who live in the area believe that seeing her is a sign of good things to come. She rarely interact with the sapient species, but some people seek her out and travel with her in silence for awhile. They often claim to have an enlightened experience from it. Her footsteps cut into the ground to create space for ponds and burrows. After a storm, many wild animals drink from the filled ponds left in her wake. Her fur provides soft nesting material for birds, and she lives in harmony with the prairies and nature.
