Daleros Shipyard is one of the naval shipyards in Otorveia. Despite being one of the smaller shipyards, it was the preferred location for Ferrin Zidareno and a few other shipbuilders. It's located in Daleros which was known for its easy access to forests and other shipping lanes for bringing in materials and people. The shipyard is operated by the navy and all of the employees are hired by the government. However, there are a few civilian projects which take place there when the demand for building military vessels is low. Also, the shipyard is known for refitting existing ships. They typically only deal with sloops and frigates. The smaller size of the shipyard means that it struggles to build the largest military ships. The shipyard was first built 200 years ago along with the founding of Daleros. The town then built up around the shipyard. About 80 years ago, the navy acquired it and refurbished the ailing port. They deepened the area and expanded it. That brought in a large number of new people to the town causing it to grow to its current size. More roads also went towards the town, and the river became a more active site to transport lumber from further upstream. The cold winters somewhat limited the amount of time people had to build, but the location of the shipyard meant that the winters were fairly mild and ships that were mostly complete could still be finished and launched due to the waters not freezing over in the winter. The area remains an active place with ships commonly being sent there for repairs and reoutfitting.
