House Fenglor
House Fenglor rules the region of the same name, which stretches from the Valley of Humanity, east of Alohma's Basin and west of the Dawnchill Mountains, north into and through Skywood. Its major cities include Casduin, Maluna, and Eshari. Locrati's Capital, Locrat, rests on Fenglor's western border with Delsaran at the southern edge of Alohma's Basin, Val'skar's largest inland sea.
Fenglor sees the majority of non-trade visitation from other nations through Casduin, and as a result is far more tolerable of other races and cultures in the southern half of its domain. Like the other Houses of Locrati, North Fenglor (in and around Skywood) is far less patient and accomodating than their southern cousins, though few travellers make it that far north except in the pursuit of work.
Prior to the Underwood War, House Fenglor only existed south Caelkadi; what now comprises North Fenglor was land that belonged to House Harahel, which was completely annihilated halfway through the war. In an honorable attempt to further assist, the citizens of Fenglor traveled north into House Harahel's former borders to lay to rest their deceased brethren. This took significantly longer than the citizens of Fenglor expected, largely due to the significant amount of excavating they had to do, and several hundred Fenglans ended up staying in the region and learning to call it home.
While most agree that this history is selfless, it also puts Fenglor at odds with the rest of the Underwood Alliance: Fenglor didn't suffer like everyone else did during the war.
Fenglor's political leanings since Naariel's tenure as Matriarch have continued the theme of selflessness, providing them with a much stronger voice in the alliance than they've had since its inception. Though these leanings haven't left her people untouched, Naariel is just as keen to ensure her country and people are well provided for.
