Jean; The Last Paladin

Jean des Ordente (a.k.a. "The Paladin of the Inn")

The Paladin was well known for his quick thinking and extroverted nature. Guided by his intuition and private perception on the world around him. He was a calculating warrior and a master of misdirection, one of the best of the Order of the Golden Star. His non-traditional methods in battle against the Drow caused division within the Order, though the results spoke for themselves. Unlike the others who would charge recklessly into battle, leading vanguards of commoners into the frenzy, Jean was far more reserved. He incorporated shifting shield walls, in order to lure his enemies and crush them.
Those days are over. The paladin no longer commands, but fights through passionate words and through intimidation. Though the Drow no longer threaten the surface world, at least where he is, he continues to stand for the little folk. His moods are wild, and unpredictable though carefully hidden behind a mask of jovial laughter.
