Battle of Greenvale

As orcs massed in the Whispering Hills, King Gerrold of Merrin sent a force to defend the nearby settlements in the Greenvale. Hastily assembled, the Merrinite force was greatly outnumbered. Choosing their ground wisely and setting up overlapping fields of fire they were able to funnel the orcs into a narrow gap and defeat them. The orcs scattered into the hills and Greenvale was saved.
