Cult of the Bound Gods
Structure
The cult follows a single, charismatic "prophet," though no outsiders know who this prophet is. A few Faithful have distinguished themselves within the ranks and act as him emissaries as called for, as well as organizing the Faithful's mundane activities and leading public sermons. These favorites routinely cycle out depending on successes, failures, and the whim of the prophet.
Public Agenda
The cult's primary public activity is preaching on the streetcorners of whatever city they've migrated to, trying to wake the public to the injustice brought against their gods, which has not yet been rectified.
They believe the gods were bound and imprisoned by Raitharan warlocks and remain trapped to this day, their power ever waning. To their view, any worship or temple is useless until the gods are freed. To the mainstream religion, these views are misguided and rather pathetic at best, and are generally seen as heretical. The priesthood of the Life-Giver tend to take particular offence, as the cult's beliefs would mean that life and death have carried on without the Life-Giver's active involvement.
Assets
The cult, and its charismatic leadership, can be very appealing to those who desire a greater mission and purpose in life. If they have assets beyond their appeal, they are kept secret; followers mostly rely on donations for their meals and a place to stay.
