History of Marvee

The Lightning Dragons, led by Kataigída, began a conquest for territory against the Earth Dragons, led by Seismós. Both of their territories bordered the Kulta Vuroet. For centuries they had squabbled over who had control over which mountain in the range. Finally, Seismós took action to claim the whole range for his brood. The war was bloody, but brief. Kataigída had a larger territory that Seismós and the different numbers in their broods and humanoid servants proved too overwhelming for Seismós' forces to resist. In the end, Most of the Earth Dragon territory was lost, Seismós was slain in an ambush lead by Kataigída and her Dragonborn assassins. The remaining Earth Dragons fled to make small enclaves far from the Kulta Vuoret, the symbol of their leader's arrogance and shame.

The Drow took control of Avalon after the fall of Erysívi during the Divine Intervention. The Drow had received special treatment by Erysívi and his brood. Working with Erysívi the Drow had been able to create the other elven races of Marvee. The other races were treated as servants and slaves to the Drow, who claimed to be their creators. Erysívi cared little about his involvement being known. The Eladrin, led by Bonju Hwan, convinced the other elves to band together and force the Eladrin out. By this point there were far fewer Drow than the other elven races and they were able to catch the Drow by surprise. Some esacped the culling, but the vast majority of Drow were killed in the first year. After the first year, Bonju Hwan worked to remove mention of the Drow in all public texts. Only the Eladrin upper class have access to the accurate historical record in Avalon. There is little mention of the Drow in historical texts outside of Avalon and none are sure how the Eladrin could have accomplished this with the Drow having a long history on the continent.

The Dwarves fared better than most with their homes secured underground. Dakor was founded based on the underground cities that were little more than mining towns before the Divine Intervention. The cities above ground were sacrificed to fortify their underground holds.

Chulak was a hard fought territory. The Dragonborn there had been well trained thanks to Kataigída's guidance, but the region was difficult to defend unless the majority of the mountain passes could be guarded. Different Dragonborn vying to replace Kataigída caused the region to fall into civil war while the land was being overrun with beasts. Eventually, the leaders of the different Noi clans came together and made peace. Each Noi leader would be on equal footing in a new council that would govern together. This allowed Chulak to become a stable nation.

The date that Ramar was officially recognized as an independent Nation of Marvee.

A unknown force invaded Eolian and Nawyd simultaneously late in the evening. Ramar was ill prepared to fend off this invasion due to unstable leadership. This force of humans that had more mages in it's service than Ramar had ever held overwhelmed the unorganized local forces. Some leaders escaped Eolian, but most were captured. The Forces have been solidfying their hold on Eolian and Nawyd before continuing there invasion deeper into Ramar.
