Grotgard

Grotgard is the known as the cavern of farms. It is a massive cavern devoted to growing various types of mushrooms as well some other deep root vegetables. There are several levels of Grotgard to maximize food production. The dwarves of Grotgard pride themselves on ensuring that the layout of the mushrooms creates artistic patterns that can be seen upon first entering Grotgard. The imagery changes with the harvesting of a section, but somehow always has a new image that is revealed.
Grotgard has a somewhat small population of dwarves. Farmers live here and few others. There is a couple inns to house traders who come to by food and transport it to the rest of Dakor. Artists occasionally come to create a piece based off Grotgard or to gift art to the dwarves of Grotgard. Many such gifts come from Kunsby. Grotgard is located to the East of Konby and has no surface access. There is only one tunnel in and out of Grotgard. There is a near constant flow transporting food and goods to and from Grotgard. Many dwarves respect the artistic nature of growing food. Fostering life his greatly respected in Dakor, though not as much as the true arts as those of Dakor would say.
