Shroud of Kaalif

An inexplicable dark shroud, estimated to be 2 miles wide and 5 miles long (though it shifts shape) sifts over the land. Those it engulfs it leaves with horrible, yet hardly ever deadly, diseases and deformities. The marked area are the bounds in which the shroud has been seen, though it seems to wander ever farther out. Named after Kaalif Al'Asaan, a powerful dragon of legend that tormented the Darnesian desert and its inhabitants. Its dragonbreath was said to inflict disease and plague much like the shroud does.
