Firepepper
World of Vallonde
Firepepper
Poison
Rare
The Firepepper can either be consumed, or applied to a weapon/piece of ammunition as an action. When consumed, the creature makes a DC16 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature's maximum HP is permanently reduced by 1d4, and they are poisoned until they complete a long rest. On a success, the creature's Constitution score increases by 1 point, to a maximum of 20. Each time (after the first time) a creature eats another Firepepper, the save DC increases by an additional +4. When applied to a weapon/ammunition, the next attack made using that weapon/ammunition that results as a hit causes the target to make a DC16 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target takes 1d8 additional fire damage, and is poisoned until the end of their next turn.
