History
When they turned to the elves in search of a cure for their eternal life as golems in 1635 1E, the beastfolk were created from the spirits of the dwarves which sought aid. Rather than live on in their new bodies freed from their damnation, they were enslaved by the elves and forced to fight for their captors in bloody wars against humans.
After the War of Lost Honor, the beastfolk were released from their servitude and set free to roam Vallonde. They were not welcomed in Barathrum, the home of the dwarves, and instead sought new lands to inhabit. Many traveled to the other civilized continents in search of a home, with most arriving in Vacral. Many also made their way to Aspon, living in seclusion from the rest of the world for many years.
In the other continents, the beastfolk were made slaves again. Many live in Rimor serving human masters and have forgotten their past.
