Excommunicated 05/22/2023

The party decide to head over to the Coffin shop in hopes of offering help to Henrik. They take a different route around town, passing by the Burgomaster, Vargas of Vallaki's mansion. Vargas gives the party information about his festival to happen the night of the full moon which he has named the Burning Sun festival.
He tries to greet them with happiness and hope but gets cynicism in return. His fragile ego hurt. The methods of how he runs the town are questioned. The very thing keeping Strahd at bay is mocked. Even the power of his being questioned. 
Izek is informed of the presence of Ireena, the girl he sees in his dreams. The girl Blinksy has made so many dolls of. Izek begins to intimidate for information. They return the same attention to him but the Burgomaster lays out the crime of, "malicious unhappiness". He tells them they are no longer welcome to The village of Vallaki.
With the Burgomaster's mastiffs, some guards and Izek, the party is escorted out of the Village. A fight ensues killing 6 guards and almost killing Aeon. Izek labels them as agents of the Devil Strahd and, after killing the guards of the town, the people will begin to believe it.
They walk out of the town and see a hill with a tent on top. Multiple tents on the base of the hill. They approach the far tent on the opposite side of the road to speak to the guards. Kasimir invites some of them in to the tent and recounts the story of the Dusk elves in the land of Barovia. How they have been subjected to tyranny and a slow genocide by Strahd himself. He killed all the females of the land and, including his Dusk elf wife at the moment Patrina. All the males had their ears cut off and were left under the, "protection" of the Vistani in the other tents.
The party is told by Kasimir he wishes to visit the Amber temple, a place where great powers are given to those who pass the guardian. They must travel a dangerous mountainside, he doesn't think they are ready yet. He tells them to find settlement in Krezk, a two day journey from Vallaki.
Andros decides to see the Vistani in the center tent, finding many Vistani drunken to sleep and others dancing around, clumsily. They enter to see a Vistani man, Luvash whipping another tied to a wooden post. Another man, Arrgal holds his brothers whip and tells him to be at ease. Alexei gains his breath. Luvash is furious the young man lost his daughter. Last she was seen was yesterday. She ran North of the camp, towards lake Zarovich.
After a long rest outside of the camp, the party is deciding where to go. Aeon wishes to help the lady in the Windmill because she saved his life. Keyeth and Meghan wish to find Henrik and help him into safety. Andros thinks of gaining the favor of Luvash by finding his daughter. Maybe it will spare Alexei's life too.
