Defeat 06/05/2023

The party was in division. Aeon had stolen the bones without anyone else knowing and all the rest feel it to be irresponsible to not get them back as soon as possible. So, after walking so long, they move through the heavy rain towards vallaki. 
Druids Stand in their way twice and the party fight with the rest of their strength. 
Finally arriving at the Gates of Vallaki, they can hear the screams of people through the pouring rain. About 200 paces from gates of Vallaki, the party sees dire wolves tearing down the gate. With great strength, the gates are ripped off their hinges and tossed aside. A dim illumination comes out of the distance and Strahd arrives on top of his nightmare. The once pouring rain stops suddenly. 
"I am Strahd Von Zarovich and I am the ruler of this land! There is no place of safety and you will never escape my wrath." 
Strahd charges at the already exhausted party with the Dire wolves behind him. The party attempt to flee into the thick of the woods but are caught at a narrow opening. Strahd passes through as mist in the night and reappears nearly beating Andros to death. They attempt to assist him but his overwhelming presence incapacitates him. Everyone freezes in fear. Strahd slowly approaches Aeon. The growls of the wolves slowly closing in can be heard. 
"Aeon, my most loyal servant. You have done well by serving your master. I seek to reward you with the power to outlive your enemies. The power to destroy everything in your path. The power of a vampire."
At the sound of this, the party attempts to attack Strahd, but he was unphased and walked off with Aeon charmed by his gaze. 
Andros desperately trying to take his friend back but is eventually struck down by Aeon's Eldritch blast. 
The dire wolves stand guard as Strahd slowly walks Aeon out of the woods. 
Utterly powerless, the party falls to their dispare. Wailing in anger at their utter defeat, they stare blankly at the full moon in the sky.

A growing ire against Strahd
The despair of the night. A nightmare rides out of the gates of Vallaki holding none other than Strahd Von Zarovich. Dire wolves gather along his side at the exit.
Strahd von Zarovich has succeeded in killing the priest Lucian Petrovich. The bones of St. Andral have been taken from the church. A small enclosure of hope in his land has been destroyed by his scheming. Baron Vargas and his Festival of the Sun were thwarted by the rain and no one could stop the Vampire spawn killing all of the civilians in the church. Strahd appears in the village and enters through the front gates to bite down into the poor priests neck and drain him of his life. After so, dire wolves gather in the Mourning gate to knock down the iron bars and make room for Strahd and his nightmare. Strahd immediately attacks the party to split the party and thank Aeon for his deeds. He feels the fading presence of a fallen diety in Andros so looks to knock him out first. The party try their best to keep him alive.
The wolves move as reinforcements but Strahd goes in to back the party off and take Aeon by charm.

The druids are going to keep the party distracted for as much time as they can to let Strahd's plan unfold.
