Another bitter departing from Vallaki 06/12/2023

The party stayed at Vallaki after the overturned government for 11 months now. They see Aeon in the shadows and he haunts them hit a smile unsettling to see. They try to make the best of their scenario fixing up houses and making sure the people have a safe place to visit. Though, Fiona Wacher has made her presence known to all. She wants council with the party and won't take no for an answer any longer. 
They decide to go to her dinner invitation at night after helping out with things in the village. Her mansion is maintained by many hands of maids and butlers. They give their hospitality to the party and show them the dining hall where Fiona Wachter will meet them. The party set up wards in the house to view anything out of the ordinary. 
As soon as she walks in, they see an invisible fiend on her shoulder. She greets them welcomingly. 
"I am very grateful you decided to take my invitation. It has been several months but trust does take time, I know. Especially after the corruption of Baron Vargas has to be dealt with in such a barbaric way. There is much we should discuss but I must start with this. You live in my Vallaki and have been known to openly oppose Strahd. I will be clear on my position to the opposition, they are not to be apart of the village." 
The party didn't respond well to this. They pointed out the Imp on her shoulder and made it clear they were not to bend a knee to Strahd. Fiona acknowledged it and told them they must leave by tomorrow morning. She will give them the kindness of staying one more night but will not be allowed to return. 
The party left the house and were hearing screams of fear coming from the Church. Quickly arriving to the scene, they catch blights tearing through the walls of Vallaki to enter the cemetery. Quickly, they spring into action., Tearing down the blights and two Effigies of Strahd with glowing stones on their chest. One stone didn't survive the fight and another was found. 
They have a makeshift patch to the wall and slept at the Blue Water Inn one more night. Urwin saw the stone and let them know that their father still needs help at the Winery. That stone has connections to their family and needs to be returned. And if they can, bring kegs of wine back. The people are unable to survive without their vice.
