Time, Research & Investigation in Chapter 4

In Chapter 4, time exists in 5 slices of a pie. A Time Pie, if you will. Each day has a time Pie.

Time Pie Elaborated

This Time pie has 5 Slices: Dawn, Morning, Afternoon, Dusk and Night. Various actions can progress the time pie.

If a Character does not perform a Short Rest in at least one slice of the Time Pie, they will gain a point of exhaustion.

Actions that can progress time.

Completing an Investigation into a person.

Researching Information at The Royal Archives.

Sleeping/Performing A Short Rest.

Completing a Sidequest.

Completing a character objective/investigation segment..

Travel between Districts without Paying for a Vehicle Ride.

Open and Close times of Services and Businesses.

Businesses have open and close times, these are listed in thier respective documents and plots.
