Yngvild
Yngvild, self-proclaimed daughter of mother, appears to be a heretic human sorceress who is obsessed with fire. However, her true nature as an Armr is revealed in direct sunlight when parts of her face darken to pitch. She is serious, determined, and shows genuine care for her companions Rowena and Bjargi. Her full intentions are currently hers, but she seems invested in helping the Storm Eaters stop the Traitors Three.
Yngvild carries a pouch of magical dust that when thrown the dust hangs in the air. She seems to be able to manipulate the dust to do several strange, arcane things.
Yngvild later revealed that her "mother" has sent her on a quest to end Velana's ability to control the Wormborn. She mysteriously would not elaborate any more than that, or who "mother" is. Yngvild stated that after her quest with the Storm Eaters is complete she plans to travel to the lost elven city of Lilladenau to become a sister, rather than a daughter, of mother.
After the Storm Eaters ended the third wyrmborn plague, Yngvild revealed that her "mother" was Hvisla, one of the eight daughters of Ravel. Hvisla promised to make Yngvild into a "sister" if she stole Velana's ability to control wyrmborn. As Yngvild was successful in her task, Hvisla told her to go to the lost city of Lilladenau to receive her reward and become a "sister". If Yngvild ever found Lilladenau and became a full-fledged daughter of Ravel is unknown, at least for now. The sailors of Hafrsted now tell tales of a powerful fire witch that haunts the islands that are scattered across their fishing waters. Could this be Yngvild, or just another tall tale?
