Siofra, Daughter of Hervora

Siofra is a beautiful elven woman of indeterminate age originally from the elvish city of Aerlithir (which fell during the War of Iron and Water, with the Jarldom of Hafrsted now built atop its ruins). She claims to be old enough to remember the first and second Wormborn Plagues (making her at least 400 years old or more) and witnessing the legendary Cyuli of the Rivers fighting side by side with the elves against the Wormborn to defend Aerlithir.   Following the fall of Aelvalla, Siofra was one of the founding members of the Sed Hellen. As part of this organization Siofra fought a futile guerilla war against the Clans of the Throat for over two centuries. In desperation, she and a small group of other elven women of the Sed Hellen formed an enclave of the Daughters of Hervora, invoking the power and inspiration of the mythical figure of elvish legend.   When the dragon Scalding Rain made its lair in the ruins of the Elvish Gardens south of Hafrsted, and claimed it was Cyuli of the Rivers cursed into a draconic body, Siofra saw an opportunity rather than a threat. She had seen Cyuli of the Rivers help defend Aerlithir during the First Wormborn Plague, and believed it was destiny that Cyuli (even if in a dragon's body) had returned to once more aid her people. Siofra hatched a plan to manipulate Scalding Rain into attacking the city of Hafrsted. To conduct this manipulation, she disguised herself as Cyuli's Ruen Ruen companion Old Gray, using several wolf pelts and some steer horns as a crude costume. She hoped that she could convince the dragon to kill or drive off the men of Hafrsted so the Sed Hellen could reclaim the city and restore Aerlithir. It did not matter to Siofra if the dragon really was Cyuli or just mad, as either way it served her ends. Her plan was risky and flawed, but after watching her people be killed, enslaved, raped, and sacrificed for over two centuries, Siofra had grown fanatical and desperate.   Siofra and her daughters of Hervora were slain trying to protect the dragon Scalding Rain from a band of adventurers known as the Storm Eaters, who needed the dragon's last breath to stop the third Wormborn Plague.
