A petite, cruel looking woman with a longbow so big that she shouldn't be able to draw it (which she calls "Lady Easy") who exudes a tough and fierce attitude. However, if one is fortunate enough to truly get to know Signi, she conceals a heart of gold and a true compassion for others beneath her cruel appearance and fierce attitude.
Signi was first met by the Storm Eaters on her way to Midsommer, traveling with Arvid of Bjorksted (a rival Clan to Arnsted). She had two strange objects in her cart that the Storm Eaters took: a djorruk corpse preserved in a bottle and an ancient elven arrowhead. She escaped into the Ytre Woods after her traveling party was attacked and slain by the Storm Eaters.
Signi later threatened to kill the livestock (and more) of Molde unless the Storm Eaters returned the possessions they took from her cart, which she claimed were all she had left of her mother. The Storm Eaters complied and returned her possessions. In return she left them a message stating she needed killers with honor like them, and if they ever wanted a good paying opportunity, seek her out at the Blushing Giant Tavern in Thaneshall.
Weeks later the Storm Eaters encountered Signi again outside the village of Rjen, where she used them to create a distraction so that she could attempt to free a Grey Ear barbarian woman from being stoned by the locals. After the incident, the Storm Eaters tracked Signi down in the wilds and discovered that she frees and smuggles thralls to safe havens outside the Clans of the Throat. They befriended her and traveled with her to the Elvish Gardens in a mutually beneficial agreement. Signi parted ways with the Storm Eaters at the Elvish Gardens, returning to her task of freeing thralls. She again offered any of the Storm Eaters (especially Halstein, whom she felt was a fellow kindred spirit of goodness and selflessness) to join her in this work, should they have second thoughts about trying to take the last breath of a dragon.
The Storm Eaters gained Signi's trust and learned that she is the bastard half-elven daughter of the Jarl of Arnsted and a thrall elven woman (with some magical talents). Signi was treated better than a thrall but still not given full rights by her father and the folk of Arnsted. When her mother was ritually sacrificed by her father, Signi ran away and dedicated her life to freeing thralls. She now travels amongst the Clans, using her mostly human appearance and her title as the bastard daughter of a Jarl, to move freely and find opportunities to secretly free thralls. She then smuggles them to safe havens outside the influence of the Clans of the Throat, such as the Elvish Gardens.
Signi once again encountered the Storm Eaters in Thaneshall, where she aided in their battle against Ana and the Wormborn. Signi killed Ana with an arrow from
Lady Easy, the mage's corpse melting away into nothingness after the shaft went through her eye. After the battle Signi agreed to travel with Isulf, Worhana, Siverion, and Winter to the Elvish Gardens, as they all had business in that area in one form or another.
