Ryk Orkborn is an Ogn Elf warrior nearing middle age but showing no signs of losing any virility. His mottled gray skin ripples with taut muscles and bear tattoos. Virile tusks protrude from his bushy, wild beard. He comfortably wears a collection of cruel looking swords across his back that look well used and well cared for. He is direct and gruff, yet with an underlying animal cunning.
Ryk is a member of the Sed Hellen, leading a small band of warriors and rogues known as Ryk's Bastards as part of that organization. Ryk and his bastards are currently charged with defending the southern approach to the Sed Hellen safehold in the Elvish Gardens. He answers to the mysterious Voronwie ("patience" in elvish). Ryk's second is the mercurial Vintior Bluehand.
The Storm Eaters briefly encountered Ryk in the Elvish Gardens, striking a deal with him to be allowed passage through Sed Hellen lands in order to deal with the dragon who recently took up residence just to the north.
