Herja

Herja is the seasoned and cunning captain of The Darkness, a black-hulled dragonship reinforced with steel ramparts and a ramming prow. Well over a half century old, Herja is a short, broad, strong woman with white hair and dozens of scars across her ashy skin (which also sports a few whiskers). Her appearance hints at some dwarvish blood somewhere in her ancestry. In battle she wields a massive warhammer named Lady o' the Gale. She is terse, direct, and no-nonsense, except for when it comes to Tomte, whom she has a grandmotherly soft spot for. Herja has worked for many Jarls and even the Thane of the Clans of the Throat, but is currently in the employ of the Lodge Eldritch.
